Are you heading to flight attendant training? I’m sure your heart is racing, and your palms are sweating because after all, you’re about to change your whole lifestyle. If you can use the tips below it will drastically make your flight attendant training less stressful.
Self-explanatory, shall we move on? Seriously, you’ve made it this far so please let’s not mess that up.
Netflix & Chill
I’m a lover of love, but I highly do not suggest hooking up with other trainees. More than likely, words will get around, and that’s attracting unnecessary attention. If you feel like there’s a true connection, wait until the end of training.
Do Not Gossip!
Do not! I repeat, do not! Gossip about other people. Keep whatever it is to yourself and if you have nothing nice to say, don’t say it at all. It’s not necessary to start burning bridges with your potential co-workers. You may think you’ll never see or hear from them again but trust me when I say; it’s a small flight attendant world.
Lose Track & Your Focus
Training was one of the most stressful things I’ve ever done. There were times I needed to branch out and explore in order not to lose my mind. I highly suggest doing other things not related to training once a week, which brings me to my next point.
Don’t Overdo It!
Don’t become this party animal coming to class with a hangover. I would hate for you to lose track over nonsense and get sent home. You applied for a reason, and you have to focus and earn your shiny pair of wings. It will all be worth it in the end, pinky promise.
There will be times where you question yourself when things got a little too hard. My family and I sacrificed a lot of stuff for to me to pursue a flight attendant career. I was homesick and missed my daughter very much. You have to reevaluate and ask yourself why you applied in the first place.
